Aging and failed seawalls often need repair. While this may necessitate replacement, many local, state and federal regulations favor repair over replacement.
Ram Jack Seawall Solutions® offers a patent pending method of repair for concrete, steel, wood and vinyl seawalls. The system can, in many instances, return crooked and leaning seawalls to their former, post installation, position.
We excavate a minimal area in front of a seawall to install our helical anchor system, which is driven into the ground at a 45 degree angle, through `bad soil` until it reaches lime-stone, sometimes 30 or 40 below the surface. We then install our patented tri-plated adapter, which has three points that attach to the shore side of the seawall serving as anchoring points. Then there’s a turnbuckle installed that is used to make any necessary adjustments if the wall needs to be plumbed or leveled, or if the contractor wants to tighten the anchoring points further for stability. After the reinforcement is in place and your seawall is secured we repair the area and clean up the site. SEE OUR PROCESS
